Babanango Valley Lodge is situated on a 3100 ha (8000 acre) private Nature Reserve, on some of the most beautiful mountain country in northern KwaZulu-Natal. There is a great diversity of animals and plants, as well as being surrounded by a colourful and dramatic history.

To make it more accessible the Lodge has established a system of more than 30 kilometres of self-guided walking trails. Alternatively, guests may request a guided morning or afternoon excursion on the nature reserve.

Babanango Valley Lodge combines attentive personal service with luxury and charm. The cosy lounge, with its crackling log fire in winter, is the gathering point for pre-dinner drinks. The candlelight, silver and crystal in the elegant dining room, furnished in Stinkwood, compliments the exquisitely presented cuisine. On warm and sunny mornings, breakfasts are served on the patio.

Guests may relax around the sparkling pool, with its stunning view or participate in the many possible activities on offer from the Lodge. Rock Pools Bush Camp offers an affordable yet unique bush experience - an African dream experience, where good hospitality and service are blended in a relaxed informal atmosphere.
