Leopard Mountain Game Lodge is a natural heritage site set in a private game reserve of pristine wilderness located between Hluhluwe and Mkuze Game Reserves within easy reach of Ndumo, Kosi Bay, Sodwana, Lake Sibaya and the St Lucia wetlands. Leopard Mountain is nestled on the cliff-tops, overlooking the meandering Msunduze River.

There are numerous activities including easy walks and exciting horse rides on the reserve, that take you through unspoiled bushveld. The reserve is well-stocked with rhino, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, nyala, kudu, warthog, ostrich and numourous smaller wildlife. For the walking enthusiast, there are river walks winding through indigenous forest filled with prolific bird life, totalling 8km.

All game walks and drives undertaken on the reserve are done so with a guide and are included in the overnight rate.

All of the accommodation is luxurious - nine stone and thatch chalets nestled on the cliff top overlooking the Umsunduze River below and the distant Lebombo mountains. The main lodge features a very comfortable dining room, bar, lounge and deck area and a unique rock pool to cool off while still enjoying the amazing view. Leopard Mountain Game Lodge also has team building and conference facilities.

Each chalet has it's own private deck with hammock, bathroom en suite, incredible views, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, small lounge area and of course twin beds - family rooms have bunks as well. There is no air conditioning in the chalets but very high semi-open ceilings with overhead fans (all closed off with mosquito meshing).

Your luxurious stone and thatch chalet provides a haven of peace and tranquility where you can watch the sun and moon rise over the magnificent Mountain range. By night, marvel at the magnificence of the African night sky.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES: There is a full conferencing venue which includes overhead projector, white board, flip chart, TV and VCR, pens and pads.

CLOTHING: It is recommended that when going on game drives and walks that neutral colours are worn - no whites!
